Take exit 118 from I-80 E/I-90 E/Ohio Turnpike 57 min (62.7 mi) Take OH-18 E to OH-58 S destination is 2.5 miles S of Wellington on the left.

Washhouses are closed daily between 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM for cleaning. Please allow our maintenance staff to do their jobs To help keep our campground beautiful we respectfully request: Registered TENT CAMPERS: no more than two tents and one screened enclosure on a campsite placed no more then 30 feet from the parking pad. Two licensed vehicles parked on the parking pad. Registered RV CAMPERS: no more than one licensed Recreational Vehicle and one additional motorized vehicle (non RV) placed on the parking pad. One screened enclosure or small tent placed no more then 30 feet from the parking pad. Registered CABIN CAMPERS: one small tent or screened enclosure placed no more then 30 feet from the parking pad. Two licensed vehicles on the parking pad. NO RVs and NO pets on cabin site.

importantInformation WINTER CAMPING INFORMATION: The Findley State Park campground will remain open during the off-season. Campsites will be on a walk-in basis (no reservations) from 11/1/16 to 4/30/17. Electric sites available during this time period on a limited basis. Full service sites will be closed. The shower house will be closed from 11/1/16 to 4/30/17. The dump station is available for use. No water will be on in the campground, water will be available at the service area behind maintenance building. Please follow the self-registration instructions located on the side of the camp office building upon arrival. Thank you. Campground Rules & Information Campers WITHOUT RESERVATIONS and unable to contact park staff should set-up ONLY on an available WALK-IN campsites: non-electric 1 thru 27 and electric sites 180,181,182,183 & ADA 170. Self-registration envelopes are available at camp office left of bulletin board. WHEN OFFICES ARE CLOSED: CAMPERS WITH RESERVATION may set up on their reserved site NO EARLIER than 3p.m. Please check in and pick up vehicle passes at camp office or nature center/store when open (times of operation posted on each building). Any person arriving before 6:00 a.m. will be charged for the preceding night 1501:41-3-11. Check-in time for reserved campsites are 3:00 p.m. check out time for all campsites is 1:00 p.m. Requests for renewals for all campsites must be made prior to 1pm (this does not guarantee same site). A campsite shall not be occupied by more than six people overnight 1501:41-9-03. In the case of one family with several children the area manager may make exceptions to this limit. Any person under 18 years-of-age desiring to camp without parent or guardian must have a written consent containing the following information; telephone number(s) at which the parent or guardian may be reached at all times; inclusive dates and park location 1501:41-9-05. Registered campers must obtain a vehicle pass for additional vehicles, and all additional vehicles must be parked in the designated visitor parking areas (see map). Camp area visiting hours are 6 a.m. - 11 p.m. 1501:41-9-03. VISITORS must obtain a visitor pass for a fee of $1 per vehicle from Camp Office or Nature Center. Visitor vehicles must be parked in the designated visitor parking areas not at campsites (see map). Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet 1501:41-3-06. TWO PET limit per campsite 1501:41-9-10. Pets cannot be left unattended and must have current rabies vaccine. Pets are permitted on all campsites except the Camper Cabins and the Organized Group camp areas. ALL RVs and motorized vehicles must be parked on the designated parking pad at campsite 1501:41-13-05. Licensed golf carts are to be driven only on park roads, parked in designated parking lots and parking pads at camp sites 1501:41-13-05. Bicycles ridden after dark must have proper lighting ORC 4511-56. Bicycles are permitted on roadways and trails. An ANSI helmet is highly recommended for the Thorn Mountain Bike Trail. Fires are permitted only in provided fire rings 1501:41-3-19. Never leave a fire unattended. The collection of firewood, cutting trees and placing nails & screws in trees is strictly prohibited. Firearms and fireworks are strictly prohibited ORC 1546.19. No feeding of any wild animal allowed in any area of the state park 1501:41-3-33. No person shall overtly and publicly consume and/ or display any beer or intoxicating liquor in any area of the park 1501:41-3-22.
